PEDESTRIANS

FACING REGULAR SIGNAL LIGHTS 21-202 (a) (1) (2)
Pedestrians facing the signal when entering intersections controlled by signal lights must obey the lights, and when allowed to proceed, must do so in marked crosswalks. Vehicles shall yield the right of way to pedestrians lawfully within the intersection.

PEDESTRIAN LIGHTS 21-203
Whenever the control “walk”, “don't walk”, or “wait” are displayed and operating, the pedestrian traffic shall be regulated by this signal.

NO SIGNAL CONTROL DISPLAYED 21-502
When traffic control signals are not in operation, the driver of a vehicle shall stop and yield the right-of-way, to a pedestrian crossing the roadway within a crosswalk.

BETWEEN CROSSWALK 21-503
Every pedestrian crossing a roadway at any point other than within a crosswalk (marked or unmarked), at an intersection, shall yield the right-of-way to all vehicles upon the roadway.

FUNERAL PROCESSION 21-207 (a) (b) (c)
No driver shall cross the path of a funeral procession at an intersection which is being used by a procession. The funeral procession has the privilege to use the intersection once entered, providing the first vehicle enters on the green signal, and may continue through or make a turn, regardless of the signal, providing that the headlights are turned on.

SCHOOL VEHICLE

OVERTAKING AND PASSING SCHOOL VEHICLES 21-706, 22-228 (d)

REQUIRED TO STOP
The driver of a vehicle, upon meeting or overtaking from either direction any school vehicle which has stopped or is stopping, shall stop 20 feet from the rear or from the front when the alternating flashing warning lights (specified in 22-228), and the driver shall not proceed until the school vehicle resumes motion or the flashing lights are no longer activated. This law also applies to a school vehicle operating in Baltimore City. This provision shall not apply to the driver of vehicle on a divided highway, if the school vehicle is on a different roadway.

DIVIDED HIGHWAYS
The driver of a vehicle upon a highway with separate roadways need not stop upon meeting or passing a school vehicle which is on a different roadway.

SPECIAL LOADING ZONE
The driver of a vehicle need not stop upon meeting or passing a school vehicle which is stopped without its alternately flashing warning lights activated, when in a special loading zone." "
